JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Design and installation of control, measurement and automation equipment and systems,
  • Electronics component selection, design and installation of control cabinets,
  • Installation of electrical installation according to provided documentation,
  • Preparing of technical manuals, reports and technical and commissioning documentation,
  • Equipment commissioning at the company headquarters and during business delegation,
  • Basic level of PC, PLC and embedded systems programming.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Higher education in the field of electrical engineering, power electronics, electromechanics, automation, electric vehicle engineering or similar,
  • Two years of experience in the field of design and equipment commissioning of automation system and/or design and commissioning of electronics devices,
  • Good knowledge of English (cooperation in an international team), ability to read and understand technical documentation,
  • Ability to work in project teams,
  • Basic level of programming (C/C++, Java, Python),
  • Willingness to two-three days long business delegation,
  • Commitment, scrupulousness, self-reliance

We are currently recruiting for the role of Senior engineer – Traffic Management System who will bring value to Nevomo in TMS solutions, and traffic automation during the whole product life cycle. JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • developing TMS architectures under the consideration of railway standards and requirements,
  • developing subsystems for Nevomo’s transportation systems and being a technical decision-maker from Nevomo’s side on the TMS topic,
  • cooperating with external partners to develop and deploy TMS on-site in our test and pilot facilities,
  • working together with the Engineering-Team on the integration and deployment of the TMS solutions with the Nevomo subsystems,
  • partnering with standardization and RAMS specialists in Nevomo to ensure that the system meets the regulatory and RAMS requirements,

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of experience in railway TMS at similar positions,
  • strong technical background – Master in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar,
  • deep knowledge of the traffic management systems in guided transport with a specific focus on railways (ERTMS L2&3, ATO/ATP, national systems, etc.) and other rail-guided transport (autonomous metro systems, CBTC solutions, GoA3/4 etc.),
  • time management skills,
  • structured and organized with a hands-on approach,
  • English operational in reading and writing for technical documentation,
  • coding experience of TMS systems in .NET, C# is in plus,
  • ability to work under time pressure,
  • willingness to travel.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • assisting in the development of safety architectures in alignment with railway standards and requirements, with guidance from senior safety engineers,
  • learning and actively participating in technical decision-making processes related to safety topics at Nevomo,
  • collaborating with external partners to support the implementation of safety measures at our test and pilot facilities,
  • supporting the homologation process and ensuring adherence to technical standards and regulations, including TSI, within the safety domain,
  • engaging with cross-functional teams, including engineers, managers, and stakeholders, to contribute to the implementation and maintenance of safety measures,
  • collaborating with standardization and RAMS specialists to ensure compliance with regulatory, RAMS, and Quality requirements,
  • keeping abreast of industry developments, norms, and regulations related to safety engineering in the rail sector,
  • assisting in risk and conformity assessment activities.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in a technical/engineering role,
  • technical background – Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field,
  • exposure to safety engineering principles and processes within the railway industry,
  • familiarity with international safety norms and standards applicable to rail transportation,
  • basic understanding of conducting risk assessments to identify potential hazards and assess risk levels associated with different processes or activities,
  • exposure to safety analyses, such as hazard analysis, fault tree analysis, or failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA),
  • eagerness to learn and understand compliance with relevant safety regulations and standards, including local, national, and international requirements,

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • developing and implementing comprehensive quality management systems, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards and other relevant railway quality documentation,
  • designing and establishing efficient quality control processes to enhance the overall effectiveness of our production procedures,
  • overseeing and managing changes in quality control processes, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal impact on production efficiency,
  • conducting thorough inspections and audits of the production process at contractors' facilities and ordering elements/parts to guarantee adherence to established quality standards,
  • creating, updating, and maintaining quality documentation in accordance with railway industry standards, including ISO 9001:2015 and other relevant quality norms,
  • collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify areas for quality improvement and implement corrective actions,
  • working closely with suppliers to ensure their compliance with quality standards, conducting regular assessments and implementing improvement initiatives,
  • providing training and awareness programs to internal teams and contractors to enhance understanding and adherence to quality standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of experience in a quality engineering role within the railway industry or transportation
  • strong technical background – Master's degree in Quality, Engineering or a related field,
  • in-depth knowledge of quality documentation standards in the railway industry, including ISO 9001:2015 and other relevant norms,
  • proven experience in designing and implementing effective quality control processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives,
  • strong change management skills, with the ability to lead and facilitate smooth transitions in quality control processes,
  • experience in conducting inspections and audits of production processes, ensuring compliance with quality standards,
  • excellent communication skills to effectively interact with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers,
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes and implement corrective actions,

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • lead the design and development of command and control systems for railway applications, ensuring integration with existing infrastructure,
  • define the technical architecture of command and control systems, considering scalability, reliability, and adaptability to emerging technologies,
  • oversee the implementation of command and control solutions, collaborating with software engineers and system integrators,
  • develop and execute comprehensive testing and validation procedures for command and control systems, ensuring functionality, reliability, and safety,
  • provide technical support for troubleshooting, identifying and resolving issues in command and control systems,
  • ensure interoperability with other railway subsystems and external interfaces, fostering seamless communication within the overall railway network,
  • implement and adhere to cybersecurity measures to safeguard command and control systems against potential threats.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field,
  • minimum of 5 years of experience in the design and implementation of command and control systems, preferably in the railway industry,
  • in-depth understanding of signaling systems and communication protocols,
  • proficient in programming languages, network protocols, and software tools relevant to command and control systems,
  • experience in developing and executing testing and validation procedures for complex systems,
  • strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues promptly,
  • familiarity with cybersecurity measures and best practices for protecting command and control systems,
  • strong documentation skills for creating clear and comprehensive technical documents,
  • ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry standards.
