At Nevomo, we are developing the magnetic rail technology - MagRail, which will enable a quick, staged implementation of hyperloop-inspired transport technology using the existing railway infrastructure. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and testing of electromagnetic systems
  • Conducting numerical calculations required for the development of the electromagnetic drive of the magnetic railway
  • Conducting numerical calculations required to develop a magnetic rail suspension system
  • Keeping technical documentation of designed systems
  • Contact with suppliers and partners
  • Collaboration with other teams

REQUIREMENTS

  • Higher technical education in the field of electrical engineering or related
  • Experience in the specialty of at least one of the following: rotary electric machines, linear electric machines, magnetic bearings, magnetic field theory
  • Fluent use of numerical computing programs, in particular Ansys Maxwell and FEMM
  • Good knowledge of programs: AutoCAD, Matlab Market
  • Knowledge of technology used in maglev and hyperloop vehicles
  • Experience in the fields of: electric drives, power supply of electric drive systems
  • Ability to work in project groups
  • Very good command of the English language (minimum C1 level)
  • Creativity
  • Reliability, commitment and independence

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Designing, implementing and testing software for a key IoT project, based on data obtained from a proprietary measurement system
  • Preparation of code documentation and project documentation

REQUIREMENTS

  • Higher education in the field of Computer Science or related
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development (including a minimum of 3 years of experience in programming in Python)
  • Minimum one year of experience in containerization (Docker and Kubernetes), minimum one year of experience in CI / CD automation
  • Perfect knowledge of SOLID, clean code, pep-8, design patterns
  • Object-oriented programming
  • Knowledge of the GIT version control system at advanced level
  • Knowledge of operating systems at advanced level

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • In the offered position, you will work on the design of power converter systems and propulsion systems for the magnetic railway and the hyperloop railway. You will also work on the development of algorithms for controlling linear motors and power supply converter systems. You will also be responsible for the implementation of converter systems management and monitoring systems. As part of your duties, you will be responsible for developing numerical models of power electronic systems, conducting simulation and hardware-in-the-loop research, implementing control algorithms on signal microcontrollers, building prototype systems and conducting experimental research. You will also take part in the entire production cycle from concept through design, implementation, testing and certification of the solution. You will work in an international team cooperating with industry specialists from machine learning and data science, embedded systems, as well as a team of design mechanics.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Higher education in the field of electrical engineering, power electronics, electromechanics, automation, electric vehicle engineering or related
  • Min. 2 years of experience in working with converter drive systems or converter energy conversion systems
  • Knowledge of the design of converter systems, control algorithms, among others vector control, digital signal processing, control theory, converter theory, modeling of discrete dynamical systems
  • Knowledge of TI controllers from the C2000 environement
  • Experience in modeling and simulation of converter systems (PLECS / PSIM / Simscape)
  • Experience in PCB design
  • Very ood command of the C language - programming of signal microcontrollers
  • Knowledge of VHDL is welcome
  • Good command of English (work in an international team)

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • In position, you will work on the development of firmware that supports the measuring devices created by our team. The developed software is responsible both for data acquisition from supported sensors as well as for their processing and sending to the cloud. As part of your duties, you will not only be responsible for the implementation, but you will also take part in the entire production cycle from concept through design, implementation, testing and certification of the solution. Working in our team is not limited to spending time in front of the computer. As a programmer of embedded systems, you will take part in the commissioning and testing of a prototype device mounted on a railway vehicle. An important aspect of your work will be the cooperation of, among others with a team of machine learning and data science specialists, as well as a team of design mechanics. You will be responsible for defining interfaces and determining design requirements for other teams working on the solution.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Higher education in the field of Computer Science, Electronics, Mechatronics or related
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a related area
  • Knowledge of C and C ++ programming languages
  • Knowledge of Git
  • Knowledge of English at B2 level
  • Ability to program microcontrollers (STM)

  1. The administrator of your personal data is Nevomo Poland Sp. z o.o., with its registered office in Warsaw, 63 A Mińska Street, 245, 03-828 Warsaw, KRS 0000674695 (hereinafter referred to as the "Company").
  2. Your personal data is processed on the basis of Article 22¹ (1) of the Labour Code in connection with Article 6 (1) (c) of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016, the so-called General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data, (hereinafter: GDPR), in order to conduct the recruitment process for a given position, so that their provision is voluntary, and their failure to prevent participation in the recruitment process. This data includes your name(s) and surname; your date of birth; your place of residence (mailing address); your education and your previous employment history.
  3. Your personal data other than those referred to in point 2 may be processed in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR - on the basis of your consent, solely for the purpose of recruitment for a given position, and in the case of additional consent, also for the purpose of future recruitment conducted by the Company. Your consent to the processing of personal data to the above extent is voluntary, and your decision in this regard may not be the basis for any negative consequences, in particular it may not constitute a reason justifying the refusal of employment.
  4. The Company may also process your personal data to determine, pursue or defend potential claims between you and the Company, (legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  5. The Company may disclose your personal data to affiliated companies within its capital group and service providers who provide services to the Company, including IT, HR, agency, administrative, security services. All our service providers are based in Poland or in the European Union.
  6. Your personal data will be stored for the duration of the recruitment process for a given position and the period of limitation of claims related to the recruitment process, and in the case of consent to the processing of personal data for future recruitment, for a period of 2 years and the period of limitation of claims related to the future recruitment process.
  7. Within the limits set by the law, you have the right to:
    1. access,
    2. rectification,
    3. deletion,
    4. limitation of processing,
    5. transfer,
    6. raise an objection,
    7. withdrawal of consent for the processing of your personal data.
  8. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting the Employer at the e-mail address praca@nevomo.tech. Withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing, which was performed on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.
  9. You have the right to lodge a complaint to the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection if you believe that the processing of your personal data by the Company violates the law.
