JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Lead the design and development of command and control systems for railway applications, ensuring integration with existing infrastructure
  • Define the technical architecture of command and control systems, considering scalability, reliability, and adaptability to emerging technologies
  • Oversee the implementation of command and control solutions, collaborating with software engineers and system integrators
  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing and validation procedures for command and control systems, ensuring functionality, reliability, and safety
  • Provide technical support for troubleshooting, identifying and resolving issues in command and control systems
  • Ensure interoperability with other railway subsystems and external interfaces, fostering seamless communication within the overall railway network
  • Implement and adhere to cybersecurity measures to safeguard command and control systems against potential threats
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system architecture, specifications, and user manuals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including signal engineers, electrical engineers, and IT professionals, to ensure alignment with project goals

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design and implementation of command and control systems, preferably in the railway industry
  • In-depth understanding of signaling systems and communication protocols
  • Proficient in programming languages, network protocols, and software tools relevant to command and control systems
  • Experience in developing and executing testing and validation procedures for complex systems
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues promptly

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities in railway systems
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy for internal projects, considering industry standards and best practices
  • Establish and lead incident response procedures to address and mitigate cybersecurity incidents promptly

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Stay abreast of railway industry regulations, standards, and certification requirements to ensure products and systems comply with applicable guidelines
  • Develop and execute homologation plans, considering the specific requirements of railway authorities and regulatory bodies
  • Manage the preparation and submission of documentation required for homologation and certification processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and legal, to ensure homologation requirements are integrated into the product development process
  • Monitor and communicate updates on regulatory changes and certification requirements to internal stakeholders
  • Coordinate and oversee testing activities required for homologation, working closely with testing laboratories and external certification bodies
  • Navigate and interpret international standards relevant to railway technology, ensuring global compliance for products
  • Conduct risk assessments related to homologation and certification, providing recommendations to mitigate potential compliance risks
  • Deliver knowledge for internal teams to enhance awareness of homologation requirements and best practices

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field

  • Proven experience in obtaining and managing certifications from relevant railway authorities and certification bodies
  • Deep knowledge and experience in rail vehicle projects considering the CENELEC and CSM approach
  • Strong skills in preparing and managing documentation for homologation and certification

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Project planning: created detailed project plans, defining schedules and budgets
  • Project coordination: managing and monitoring all project phases from initiation to completion
  • Resource management: Allocation and management of personnel, budget and other resources
  • Communication: Regular reporting to stakeholders, conducting meetings and presentations
  • Risk management: identifying, assessing and minimizing project risks
  • Quality assurance: Ensuring that project objectives are met in terms of time, quality and cost
  • Documentation: Maintaining comprehensive project documentation and reports

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Degree in economics, engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in project management, preferable focus on the railway or infrastructure industry. Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion
  • Certificates: Project management certifications such as IPMA, PMP, PRINCE2 or comparable qualifications are an advantage
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong time management skills
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of project management software such as MS Project, Jira or similar tools
  • Ability to work in a team and leadership qualities
  • High self-motivation and proactivity
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Detail orientation and accuracy
  • English and German as a must, another European language preferred (Polish or French)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Work on the design of power converter systems and propulsion systems for magnetic railway and hyperloop railway
  • Develop algorithms for controlling linear motors and power supply converter systems
  • Implement converter systems management and monitoring systems
  • Develop numerical models of power electronic systems
  • Conduct simulation and hardware-in-the-loop research
  • Implement control algorithms on signal microcontrollers
  • Build prototype systems and conduct experimental research
  • Participate in the entire production cycle from concept through design, implementation, testing, and certification
  • Collaborate with an international team, including industry specialists in machine learning, data science, embedded systems, and design mechanics

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Higher education in the field of electrical engineering, power electronics, electromechanics, automation, electric vehicle engineering or related
  • Min. 2 years of experience in working with converter drive systems or converter energy conversion systems
  • Knowledge of the design of converter systems, control algorithms, among others vector control, digital signal processing, control theory, converter theory, modeling of discrete dynamical systems
  • Knowledge of TI controllers from the C2000 environment
  • Experience in modeling and simulation of converter systems (PLECS / PSIM / Simscape)
  • Experience in PCB design
  • Very good command of the C language - programming of signal microcontrollers
  • Knowledge of VHDL is welcome
  • Good command of English (work in an international team)
